Official Potter County criminal records must be requested from the office that created or maintains them. The contacts below route court papers to the Clerk of Courts, booking questions to Potter County Jail, sheriff records to the Sheriff's Department, police reports to the arresting agency, and Pennsylvania repository checks to the Pennsylvania State Police. Potter County Criminal History is privately operated and cannot retrieve, change, certify, or file those records.

This Is Not a Government Office. Potter County Criminal History is a private reference resource. It cannot obtain records, perform official checks, certify copies, correct or remove a record, or receive an expungement filing. Those services belong to the responsible government custodian.

Potter County does not publish a single records division for all criminal material. Court filings belong with the Clerk of Courts at Room 23, while sheriff-created records belong with the Potter County Sheriff's Department in Room 24. Both offices are in the courthouse at 1 East Second Street in Coudersport. Call the Clerk at 814-274-9740 during its posted hours or the Sheriff at 814-274-9350 before traveling.
